Chloe will be joining our Ocean Freight Department and we hope she will be very happy here at Diamond Forwarding.

We have been advised of a GRI on all traffic moving on the Asia – Europe trade effective 01/03/2012 and 01/04/2012

Whilst the amounts differ slightly for each shipping line the increases are in the region of USD700/teu for FCL traffic and USD25 w/m for LCL traffic

“The ocean freight rate for the Asia-Europe trade continues to be below the required level to cover basic operating costs. Considering that the current level is unsustainable for the long term, we are announcing a revenue restoration programme in order to maintain a viable service level.”

We are pleased to welcome Ryan Meakes and Lindsey Hixon to our Diamond team.  As part of Diamond’s commitment to quality and growth, we welcome them all to our expanding, dedicated customer service department.  Ryan and Lindsey will bring a wealth of enthusiasm and experience to our already top quality service and we hope they will all be very happy here at Diamond.

With effect from January 2012, Lynne Hughes has been promoted to the position of Operations Director at Diamond Forwarding. In her six years at Diamond Forwarding, Lynne has proved to be an asset to the company and this promotion is richly deserved.

Our very own Gemma Collett took to the skies in July in aid of Help for Heroes.  She jumped from 10,000 feet to raise money for the charity, which supports members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.

Gemma raised a stunning £1000 for the charity.  We all support and admire her bravery in aid of this good cause, and we’re glad she made it back to Diamond Forwarding safely!
